Stop listening to everyone

I know you.

You’re an independent, strong-willed, go-getter. You know what you need to do and how to do it.

And yet, somehow, you find yourself endlessly looking for guidance from other people.

Because: the internet.

All that information is out there and most of it is free. So, maybe, just maybe, you should read ALL OF IT.

Who knows what you might miss out on if you don’t?!?

All this information at our fingertips should make us feel empowered. Instead it’s making us feel inadequate.

We stop listening to our own instincts and replace our judgment with that of others, even when it feels wrong.

We assume that complete strangers know exactly what we need to be successful.

Guess what? They don’t.

The answers aren’t out there. They’re in you.

You need to stop listening to everyone else and start hearing yourself.

To reconnect to your own knowledge and genius. They’re what got you this far.

And they’re the only things that’ll get you where you want to go. Trust me.

TRAVELER’S TIP: Quiet the noise. Just for a week. Unsubscribe from the 15,000 email lists you are on. Turn off notifications for Facebook groups and don’t go anywhere near them. Disconnect from the interwebs and reconnect to what you are doing and why.

The internet will still be here when you come back, I promise. And a week from now, you will be a happier, more confident business owner.

Because the only thing you’ve been missing out on? Is you.

PS: This is what I do. I specialize in taking entrepreneurs from insecurity and hesitation to confidence and clients, all by reconnecting them to themselves. Find out how here.
